Self head canons? That sounds like a fancy way of telling me to get a hobby 🤣

Okay here’s a list:

- Cooking. Wanna do more cooking for sure, and I love cooking shows too. Competitive cooking looks like a butt ton of fun.

- Jewelry. I’ve modeled it before and designed my own fashion lines, but I want to try my hand at making it myself. Also want to take away the stigma that men’s jewelry has to have a certain look to it. Give me more shine and sparkle! - Calligraphy. With my own feathers! I’d just have to think about it and watch them go. - Sleeping. I’m 100% serious, I want to make up for lost time. As an added twist I’d like to introduce the concept of napping tourism. I want to nap on the beach, or in a boat, or just somewhere that isn’t a little bed crammed into a tight space. Birds may have nests but they still have a ceiling of stars above them every night--A big old dome of freedom in the sky! - Antiquing/collecting. I like random things, in nature particularly. But, some man-made things are pretty cool too. And some things are weird. Some things I want just because I know it would freak someone out. - Music. I like feeling it in my body. Not sure if I would take up an instrument, try my hand at digital composition, or sing, but it would be interesting either way. If I sing though, I just wanna be one person in the choir. Spotlight just isn’t the place for me, ya know?

Jokes aside, I would love to write more about this ‘verse and explain their full story - there’s a lot about Villain Hawks and hero Dabi to unravel. Don’t know if you’ve read the brief thing I’ve written about them? Either way I’ll be leaving the link at the bottom becuz self promo is healthy.

Now. Let’s get to the point. I will admit that the origin of his scar is still a debated topic in my mind, but I’m leaning towards a couple ideas already. Don’t know if I’ll ever really write the story, but either way, if you don’t mind “”spoilers””....here you go, anon:

Hawks past was messy, he found himself alone all of a sudden, owning nothing, eating barely, and with a quirk he was unable to properly control... no one in the world caring for him and a deep sense of grief and loss making him feel like a lost cause, desperate, angry, worthy of death too. He always led a kinda miserable life, but he didn’t use to be alone, before.

The scar could have been a consequence to a rough alley fight, maybe a fight where he was trying to protect himself from a cruel world, or a fight he himself had started to try and feel something, to hurt and be stronger. But this is not the actual idea I’m leaning towards. In fact, my mind decided that the scar should have a deeper menaing..... what if it was inflicted by his own mother, in a drunken fit of rage. His mother too is a fucked up complex character in this story, but no point in rambling more now. All it matters is that kid Hawks found himself alone one day, with no one caring for him - so he found a way to care for himself, he built a purpose and a reason to carry on the burden and the pain. Finding the League (and consequently , Touya) was probably the best thing that could have happened to him.

This got sad but I hope it gave the idea. I’m also really sorry about the incredibly late reply!! Im a mess skdnksd
