My favourite HotD fiction I've shared is probably my Cregan Stark fic Weriwood Tree. It was the first idea I'd had in a long time that came easily to me.

Favourite non HotD fic is my on going series Private Bennet's Lover. I'm hoping to be able to spend this weekend working on the 3rd and final part.

Recently, I re-read one of my favourite Michael Gavey fics by @ewanmitchellcrumbs, "The Golden Ratio" and could not recommend it enough. The attention to detail and characterisation is insane.

And along side this, being new to the Slow Horses fandom I've been loving @daydreamgoddess14 and @cillmequick's fics for the delicious River Cartwright, some current faves are "Dirty Thirty" and "Bad Day" and looking forward to working my way through the rest of their works!

Not sure how long… but I’d say long enough to have come to the conclusion that no matter how much legitimate effort he put in, he’d never be as famous as Edmond Ahlberg. And hence needed to do something stupid drastic. He probably started working for Safety Patrol thinking it’d give him a chance to be a hero and it did not. At the least I believe he was promoted to the position and was already in Safety Patrol before this.

Hello. As ever, I’m glad to impart my perspective where it may prove useful.

All in all, Korra seems a likable person. I would say her development as an individual was somewhat hampered by growing up with the awareness that she was the immediate successor to the Avatar... And were I responsible for her care, I would have preferred to give her some time as a child to simply be Korra. Even Her Majesty, with her exceptional abilities and character, was a little girl once with no more pressure on her than any parents would expect of their child.

It would have been difficult, considering her abilities as Avatar manifested as a toddler, and it’s no criticism of how she was raised. Merely an observation. Clearly, she did quite well for herself.

 I’m also a fan of Grace/Christopher because ever though the family tree does say they get married I’d be down for an Edwardian version of the nerd/really hot girl. Also her always having men ogle her for her looks to fall for Christopher who’s not aware...scute. 

 headcanons: 

 -older sister tm (good for bonding with older brother tm james) 

-she embroiders? I feel like she might have a lot of extra time in the manor and to get away from tatiana she takes up embroidery to get her mind off of things. 

-some leftover trauma leftover from her parents death that she never talked about is a given and I feel like James might have been the first person she would have ever felt comfortable opening up to about anything like that. 

Hi! You are absolutely not bothering me! Tips for beginners on making cosplay...hmmm...I’m not sure what you mean by “making” exactly, but here are some things!

1. Give yourself plenty of time to make the cosplay. You’re going to make mistakes. You’re going to have to remake parts of it. That’s okay. That’s normal. Don’t let that get you down! Take a deep breath and try again!

2. Make a list of all of the components of your cosplay. That helped me a LOT when I made Celica. It also makes it easier to plan when you want things done by.

3. Look up tutorials. Most of my worbla knowledge comes from tutorials my friend sent me. Pretty much anything you want to make with regards to materials you want to work with has a tutorial probably.

4. For sewing, don’t feel like you need to make a pattern from scratch right off the bat? I always find patterns that have key components to my cosplay (a dress with the right amount of panels, a coat with the right kind of collar, a vest with the correct shape in the front) and then alter it from there.

5. Ask for help! If you have any specific questions with a costume and you see that someone else has made that same thing, ask them! The worst thing that could happen is you don’t get a reply, and then you can ask someone else!

6. Don’t get discouraged! You are your own worst critic. Everyone else is going to think you look amazing.
