“Considering you just described the multiverse as horrifying I think I’m happy where I am,” said Dom with a chuckle.

Obviously there are the things about her that stand out, like her beauty and her bloody great mind that make me love her, but there are other things too. She’s more than what she looks like. She is so much more and she has a lot to give too. I want the world for Jess. I would give it too her if I could. Our relationship? It’s hard to say. Bloody great friends, I know that’s true. We could be more if we wanted to be. I think we’d be good at it.”

Of course there was so much more about Chris that Dom could never put into words. There was no explaining exactly what Chris meant because that would mean trying to explain the importance of the world, and that is just too big a task for someone so insignificant.
