Hi! I have a question: how anonymous is anonymous? I feel like "dear mom" or "dear roommate" or "dear barista from yesterday" is pretty inconspicuous.
Hi! We actually appreciate general addresses like that, as it gives the letter and story context right off the bat. As far as the submitter’s identity, there is no email or name attached to your submission unless the writer includes it, and we’ll be sure never to say any names that sneak through the cracks on the podcast.
The latest Dearest episode was so beautiful. I listened to it four times. First on the fourth time did I realize that one of those letters was mine. At first I laughed, then I cried. Listened another four times to my letter alone. It was so beautifull, much more so than I could have ever imagained, and I want to thank you for giving life to my feelings this way ❤ It's very precious and I love it so much!

I’ve been waiting for this podcast to post for a while, and I just listened to all of the eps at once. I love this so much and have proceeded to recommend it to all my friends (even though a letter I’ve submitted is addressed to them, so I may accidentally come out to them if it ever airs and they actually listen). I absolutely adored each episode, my heart is so full after listening to people be so honest and open. Keep up the amazing work!!
