Ahhhh! ;; I have a tendency to get down on myself a lot when it comes to this stuff since I don’t have many people interacting with me or my lore. I guess it’s because I feel like that means I’m not doing something right? 

Excellent question! 

Barbossa and Velina have a rather long history together that I’d love to write more about. In the beginning Velina was his first mate and together they explored, raided, and sailed the Sea of a Thousand Currents as equals. Over time the two grew closer and eventually became lovers, this changed everything.

Good question! 

Othello is pretty smart and he knows better than to even attempt it, atm. Barbossa has a lot of loyal followers who wouldn’t even think twice about turning their blades and claws on him if he tried.

Ouija is the crew’s resident spy and assassin. Originally she’d been tasked by one of the Bonecrossed’s many enemies to hunt them down and steal back a valuable heirloom they’d stolen during one of their raids. Her employer put very little faith in her success, many before her had tried and failed, but boy was he wrong to doubt her. 

Within three weeks Ouija had managed to track them down, get inside without detection, and steal back the treasure. When she returned to inform her employer of her success she was surprised to find herself chained and hauled away to his dungeon as her payment. He informed her that he didn’t care much for pirates or assassins and figured he’d “kill two birds with one stone”.
