Comet has been well. They have just been busy playing Animal Crossing.

Unfortunately, the weather did not want to play nice this week, so instead Wolf joined me on a trip to the thrift store.

He is still rather shy, and opted to stay in my arms for the majority of our time there, but he did eventually work up the courage to venture onto the shelves and checked out a funny looking hat.

Afterwards, we swung by Dairy Queen, and Wolf poked his head out the window just long enough for me to snap a picture before the speaker box spooked him into hiding.

I wanted to stop by the library today, and Pigeon happily volunteered to accompany me.

She is good about staying out of trouble, so I let her roam the isles while I browsed for a new book to read.

Alas, I did not have any luck finding one this time, but she did! The book was waaaay too big for her to hold though, so I offered to read it with her.

Great question, Anon!

I have been a fan of them since I was about 6 or 7, but I could not tell you exactly why they fascinated me at that age outside of how comforting and fun they were to have around. I do remember memorizing their speech and movement patterns so that I knew exactly what they were going to say/do so I could give the illusion of my robot companions being fully sentient around other people.
