Is making Fanart or Ocs of this Au Okay? I’m asking because your characters are super cute and I would love to draw them, but I totally understand why not.
Also, one more. Do the newbies see King Candy’s Transformation into Turbo?
Yes, of course! Thank you for asking! Go on right ahead, and feel free to tag me.
Also yes. Thanks to Gummli's technological skills, they have deep knowledge of the game's inner workings. While they fled to Game Central Station with everyone else, Gummli used their tech pad (called Gummy-Pad) to link up to the Jumbotron to locate Vanellope, projecting the same feed on the wall in front of them. Not only did the newbies see it, but so did everyone in the whole station present at the time.
Felt a bit odd drawing the kiddos after so long. They've gotten some updates to their looks, but their personalities are the same.

It seems pretty clear that Merula is Astraeus’ mother. So, what is the story of how Astraeus was taken in by the Coppers? Who is the father? What was Astraeus’ birth name? I need the backstory.
This was sent over a year ago I'm so sorry anon KDFBNGKJDF
But yes, you're correct XD
Small change from his original profile:
He was adopted shortly after he was born, which was the September before the Battle of Hogwarts, rather than directly after it.
Astraeus didn't have a birth name, as neither of his bio parents had any sort of attachment to him, much less each other. He was only conceived for the sake of the family legacy. The parents in question? (You're not prepared, maybe)
For more context on Antonious, I have all posts from his tag here. Basically, he's a discount Malfoy with none of the charm, and absolute wimp of a man that loves to say the most out of pocket things thinking his wealth will protect him, and then wonder why people hate his ass.
Merula had been sentenced to life in Azkaban back at the end of Year 6 for committing murder using the Killing Curse. Nearly a shell of her former self, one thing she didn't lose was the resentment she had for her former classmates, especially Reina. There's another reason why her hatred for Reina persisted, but that'll be for another post. Just know that the Snydes lost favor with Voldemort due to a past incident that Merula incited.
The Rust-Thornes weren't held in high regard either, due to their ancestral history of acquiring wealth through deception. Although they were Purebloods, Antonious and his parents only joined for protection. Mrs. Snyde and the Rust-Thornes were so desperate for their bloodlines to continue that they reached an agreement for their respective children to do their part.
In the Snyde Twins AU, Mavis is never brought up due to being disowned years prior for being a Squib. Merula still brought her up as someone to deal with Antonious, but her mother immediately shut it down.
Antonious and Merula deeply hated each other. Merula saw him as incredibly pathetic, whiny, and cowardly. Antonious saw her as catty, ugly, and beneath him. The one thing they had in common was that neither of them had enough of a spine to say no to their respective parents. They were given a month to find a suitable Pureblood partner of their preference, but no one wanted to go near them. The two had no choice but to carry out their families' wishes.
Merula had no maternal connection or emotional attachment to her unborn child throughout her pregnancy. The only upside for her was that the Demons tormenting her left her alone, as she was carrying an innocent Soul, and that's a line they didn't cross.
At the height of Voldemort's return, both Ben and Ismelda went undercover as Death Eaters. Ben himself simply used a disguise through Glamour Magic. Merula and Ismelda found themselves being civil enough with each other that Merula trusted Ismelda to vent about her arranged union.
After a serious conversation, it was agreed that Ismelda would secretly take the child in once he was born. Ismelda had her twins in June of 1997, while Merula delivered her son that following September and immediately handed him over to the former. Her mother and Antonious' parents were killed on a mission some weeks prior, so she lied to Antonious, claiming to have suffered a miscarriage.
They both saw this as a blessing, as it meant they didn't have to deal with each other anymore. The two of them would meet their demise at the Battle of Hogwarts.
Since Ben and Ismelda planned to name their twins Artemis and Apollo, with the inclusion of their now-adopted third child, they named the baby Astraeus. His birthdate was changed to that of his new siblings to throw off any potential suspicion.
After the battle, Ben and Ismelda would move on and raise their three children. From a very young age, Astraeus never liked his eyes for reasons he didn't understand. Although Merula had always used Colovaria to change her eye color to the signature violet, Astraeus would inherit it as a natural color.
Once he was old enough, his folks told him about his true heritage. Understanding who his biological parents were, Astraeus saw the Coppers as his one true family, and they, in return, always loved him all the same.
He eventually gets over the dislike of his eyes once he reaches adulthood, growing to accept them as part of who he is, but not what defines him.
In the Snyde Twins AU, he adored his aunt Mavis from day 1 and the two are practically best friends. He'd learn more about their family from her perspective.
Hey your arts awesome your style is sooooooooooooooooooooooo fucking cool!!! Love it do u do requests because I've got a idea I'm really passionate about you'd be perfect to take on! It's a fusion between 2 of my favorite character designs ever! Mega Mawile and Bill Cipher! Ik you'd make a amazing design for it!
Hello anon! and thank you sm for enjoying my art! 😊❤️ id say i dont usually take requests but it just heavily depends on what the request is about + if im feeling up to the task of drawing (i draw way less than i post but u didnt hear that from me 🤫)
but to honor ur request i did a few quick sketches of mega mawbille, i wanted to incorporate more of bills design but just a cane or a floating top hat felt a bit silly & out of place since i wanted to stick close to Mmawiles design and... pokemon-ness. so i tried incorporating some of his accessories into mega mawiles mega jawiles
another idea could be a triangle with a mawile superimposed on it, mega 180 degrees or something
I want to understand the whole thing going on with Ben X Ismelda and what was that moment that just made you go “Yeah, I ship it”
It was mostly cuz I thought it'd be funny. I don't have the screenshots in question, but it started back when Year 6 first came out.
Ben's personality did an entire 180 and he was taking regular trips to Knockturn and threaten the locals to prove how strong he became.
For Ismelda, her dialogue was based on a side quest where she mentioned that her dating type would be someone that would bathe in the blood of their enemies.
The idea clicked for me almost immediately. She'd totally fall for New!Ben.
The biggest motivators for me were cuz I found it funny, and because I don't think anyone else shipped them as far as I knew, even at the fandom's peak. I figured I'd commit by having the two sort their stuff out so they'd balance off each other better, have them get married, and give them kids.
Have a doodled comic of the squad in their 6th year.
Reina and Rowan aren't against the two dating. It's the fact that it took Ben a while for it to even click.
EDIT: Yikes this site really doesn't like all the red on Reina. My poor girl got pixellated as hell
May I ask what you think Merula and Reina would’ve been like if Merula in your AU had redeemable qualities? I personally like Merula but I like your idea of a version of her that’s just a genuine horror story.
Oh thank you!
For that to happen, Merula would need to have been genuinely apologetic for her actions as early as their First Year, no longer be a bully to those around her, and drop whatever blood supremacy views she may have had, including dropping "Mudblood" from her vocabulary entirely.
They would've had a friendly rivalry since they both have rather strong personalities. Merula may be stubborn, bossy, and even hot-headed, but she's also very dedicated to her goals. Those qualities would've made her a great ally in the long run.
They had a very brief chat about it at the Malfoy Manor during the Second Wizarding War (long story). Yes, the multiverse is a thing here cuz I decided to have some fun. Few are aware, though.

What would Violet's thoughts be on how the other Diamonds changed in Era 3? Also what caused their falling out in the first place?
She'd feel very confused and awkward. Imagine leaving a toxic household only to return years later and find out the relatives you had a falling out with had genuinely changed for the better. It'd take Violet a while to get used to it.
Their initial fallout was hinted at in the relationship chart:
White Diamond
White's need to have everything under her absolute control took a toll on Violet. As the second-oldest Diamond, she faced the brunt of those expectations until she burned out and began to question why things needed to be the way they were. White found amusement in Violet's "rebellious" behavior. Since she couldn't control her with her powers, White felt Violet would eventually snap out of her "phase", come back to her senses, and act like a proper Diamond.
Yellow Diamond
Violet had very little patience for Yellow's temper, and the two would clash due to their headstrong personalities. When Violet began to step out of the norm, Yellow didn't hesitate in questioning her capabilities as a leader, going as far as telling her she was acting off-color. Yellow was taken aback when Violet left with most of her Division. Next time they saw each other was after Pink's shattering. Violet's refusal to participate in the Gem War led to another argument that boiled over when Yellow said something she really shouldn't have.
"If anyone deserved to be shattered, it should have been YOU!"
"...Heh. Finally said the quiet part out loud, huh?"
Blue Diamond
While they got along fine at first, Violet was put off by Blue shattering whatever gems in her court were out of line. Blue failed to understand why Violet found such a problem with it, so the two would often bicker. To her credit, Blue did try to stop Violet from leaving Homeworld by trying to ease things with Yellow, and was saddened when that failed. After Pink's shattering, Violet only saw Blue's grief as hypocrisy. She gets to grieve the loss of Pink, but the other gems couldn't grieve the ones she shattered herself? Violet's departure only saddened Blue even more.
"Violet, please don't go! We already lost Pink! We can't lose you, too!"
"There's nothing for me here..."
Pink Diamond
The one she cared for the most. Violet was someone Pink could rely on, often venting her frustrations and just having someone she could talk to without worry. When Violet left Homeworld, she assured Pink that she had no fault for her decision and promised to rush to her aid if needed. The two kept in contact for years. Violet was aware of Pink's struggles, insecurities, and low self-esteem, and she did everything she could to help her overcome them, but it wasn't enough in the end. As thankful as she was to Violet, Pink also felt she was a burden to her, and gradually stopped contact. Although Violet felt Pink's shattering was off, it didn't change the fact that White, Blue, and Yellow were to blame for driving her away in the first place.
Another question is how long was Merula in Azkaban? I say this because of the way he looks now
She was there from 1989 to 1996, so only 7 years.
She looks the way she does just because of the horrible conditions of the prison, making her age much faster. That plus the curses she got struck with for the harm she caused Reina and her friends back when they were in their 5th year.
What's the overall aesthetic of Sugar Rush 1984 aside from the 80s theme?
The 80s aesthetic is the selling point. Think of the 80s retrowave and synthwave themes that have resurfaced in the last couple of years. The game's theme song is even an 80s version of it. It's also very present in the kids' outfits and throughout each of the tracks. 1984 is the set year in their game.
Their world is more like a bustling city instead of the calmer village/town setting of the first game. Some of the tracks would consist of places like an arcade, a mall, the beach, highways, city blocks and a warehouse. With Sugar Rush 1 getting a major update, and with Sugar Rush 1984 being reverse compatible, both of their worlds get linked by a major bridge east of the castle.
Fun little fact: The Sugar Rush games are set in the year they were released, so with SG 1984 taking place that same year, the og game is set in 2010. Most of the roster in 1984 are at the age where they could be the parents of the kids in the first game.
