First and foremost: Self-Reflection.

He lives in his own reality where he does nothing wrong ever, everyone owes him in some capacity, and rejecting him makes you the bad guy. Sure his parents are to blame for this, but that excuse can only go so far once you're an adult. When everything fell apart for him, he still blamed everyone else. When things go great for everyone else, he hates them for being better off than he is. When facing death, he tried to use his infant son as a bargaining chip.

His self-reflection would have to happen when he realizes he's about to be a father. He's bringing life to continue the bloodline, even if it's with a woman he despises. He'd find himself going to Ricardo and Reina for advice knowing they'd want the baby to be safe at all costs. When they see he genuinely wants to help his son, they give him the resources and sanctuary to do so. However, this doesn't equate to him raising his son. Antonious would be a terrible father, and he knows this. He'd make the arrangements to have him adopted into a good family; the Coppers.

Secondly: Apologizing

The dork has never apologized to anyone in his life. Ever. The word "sorry" was never in his vocabulary. When he left people upset, all he ever said was "what did I even do?" He refused to see what was wrong with mocking a grieving Ricardo for the deaths of Olivia and Duncan; he didn't understand why Reina ended up hating him after he mocked Ricardo to her face. In this reality, Ricardo was widely hated because Antonious used his wealth to spread false rumors about him. The doofus always had the worst possible case of victim mentality.

Following the self-reflection above, the next step would be to genuinely apologize for his atrocious behavior over the years. Not just to the kids he bullied during his school years, but to the families he scammed over the years. Remember that his family acquired their wealth by scamming others for generations, which is why even other Purebloods looked down on them. The extent of the apologies wouldn't just be to pay back the families he affected, but even serve whatever prison sentence he'd get for years of doing the crime.

Thirdly: Accept That Forgiveness Isn't Owed

Another major sign of growth is accepting that apologizing doesn't guarantee forgiveness. He hurt a lot of people through his wealth and connections. Reina and Ricardo don't forgive him even though they help him out; their interests were only in the safety of his son. Duncan and Olivia (having long since returned as Ghosts due to having unfinished jobs they wanted to do) don't forgive him. Antonious saw no problem in kicking people while they were down, so the hatred he has against him was pretty much earned.

Final: Living An Honest Life

The Archaics: The practitioners of Old Magic. They're based on the flaws of the magic system in the Harry Potter universe. Humans are at the top of the hierarchy, and they use magic that can only be channeled through a wand, so no wand equals no magic. They believe their ways are superior to those of everyone else, despite being technologically stagnant (still using quills and unaware of TVs or phones as of the mid-1980s). Archaics look down on Vytarians, believing their Magic is wasted at best or chaotic and unreliable at worst. Archaics are hidden in plain sight.

Within their society, there are the Purists, who live by the core beliefs that only pureblood Mages deserve to rule the world. They believe in the subjugation of anyone they deem beneath them. Thanks to their influence, non-human beings such as Werewolves and Goblins are treated as second-class citizens, so most of them leave Archaic territory for justified reasons.

The Vytarians: Practitioners of Vytarian Magic, a type of power that existed when a Korvati named Vytaris mastered and broke the rules of Old Magic to create this current system. Vytarian Magic is fueled by one's Soul, allowing it to be learned by anyone regardless of heritage. Although they don't care for the ways of the Archaics, they remain respectful and leave their doors open for those who wish for a new lease on life (with limits).

Wands are mainly used by beginners, and access to higher levels of magic requires forming contracts with Divinates, higher beings worshipped as deities in ancient human societies.

Vytarians also have access to alternate dimensions through the use of portals, so hiding is a lot easier for them. They have numerous communities scattered across the world. The story follows one of the larger communities located in Crystal Beach (Playa de Cristal), a fictional location in the Dominican Republic.

The Terrans: The regular Human world, having the largest population of the factions. The vast majority remain unaware of the existence of Magic as a whole, believing it to be nothing more than childhood fairytales. A small percentage of the population is born with innate Magic regardless of their ancestry. They're known as Espers.

The Espers: Humans born with the ability to use Magic despite having little to no magical heritage (equivalent of Muggleborns). While the powers usually trigger during early childhood, they can also activate later in life in rare cases. They're required to attend the proper Magic schools to get their powers under control.

Since they're subjected to discrimination from Archaics, especially Purists, who view them as abominations, Espers often transfer to Vytarian territory since they have the freedom to choose who and what they wish to be without fear of persecution.
