Hey! Unfortunately no, I don’t have sketches of the digital drawings because I do the sketch and work off it, cleaning up the lines as I go- but, what I learned from my Uni art classes is that the best way to draw/learn to draw, especially people, is to draw from life. Having true depth perception helps get proportions right- which makes all the difference when trying to draw someone specific, and have the features look like theirs rather than generic facial features.

Start with quick, ‘gesture’ drawings, spending no more than a couple minutes on each one - if you’re watching tv with someone, or just sitting together, draw multiple versions of them just as they are- when you’re drawing quickly, it forces you to look at lines and shapes rather than trying to recreate the idea you have of their features - like how we say 'eyes are this shape’ and 'noses look like this’. You have to abandon the set, symbolic ideas because it will get in the way of drawing whats in front of you accurately.
