So there’s this guy I have been crushing on for the past three months. But sadly we haven’t gotten anywhere further. In the beginning, he told me he doesn’t do relationships and I honestly respect that but with time passing by, he started showing signs that he actually does like me but then he would turn cold. Recently I hinted that I like him but I think later I confused him by ignoring him which was followed by him being rude to me! Also yesterday I was prank texting him song lyrics of “into you” and he got pretty stubborn and wanted me to tell him properly what I really intended to tell him. I just dunno what to do.

So, I’m 16. I’m kind of a tomboy, although still feminine. I wear makeup, have long hair, wear band T-shirts and plaid shirts and ripped jeans and Converse runners, I play baseball, I love Star Wars and classic rock music and hockey and comic books and other stuff that’s not exactly “woman-like.” Now, I’m the only person in grade 11 who has never had a boyfriend. Do you think it could be because of my masculinity? Or do guys like nerdy tomboyish chicks?

Recently, my ex-boyfriend texted me even though I already have a boyfriend. He says he’s doing it to help him with this girl he’s into, but why would he need my help instead of just asking a favor from his best friends? I’m starting to think that this girl doesn’t even exist, because in one text, he mentioned the girl’s backpack and said, “It’s a bright color.” Then the next day, he said, “It’s dark color.” I don’t know, sometimes the way he texts seems like it’s just to make me fall for him again, just to make me jealous and makes me forgot that I already have a boyfriend. Please help me.
