You Linger.
Soft, sweet and warm. The taste of you lingers delicately on the outside of my lips. A reminder of that smile you gave me. For when your not here I am left with what lingers. I close my eyes to take me back to when I was gifted your touch. When I could take you in with every breath. I can only know you as deep as you let me dive. I can only be there as long as that want is within you. I walk the tight rope that inevitably leads to you with every tiptoe of uncensored feeling. To mask how I feel is not a quality I possess, for I am incapable of hiding the truth. Tantalizing you are as I have yet to see behind the curtain that which is your true desire. All I can do is wonder if you also are left with what lingers.
