Sooo obviously the vampires an survive really bad wounds but before they heal them do they feel the pain of the wounds?

Also does it like matter to the plot that pet doesn't have a name/ that asirel just doesn't know it or is just for the sake of the listers not having like given names?

Vampires always feel pain; their threshold is much higher even though they're much more sensitive.

Pet knows Asirel’s name, but does he know theirs?

Every person has their own name for their version of Pet, but even in universe, it doesn’t really seem like it.

When Pet was telling Asirel about their past in the sixth episode, he says, “I bet if I searched your name, whatever it is, you’d be on the list of the honourable dead.”

Personally, Pet seems like the type of person that doesn’t care too much about what people call them and acts under a “you didn’t ask so I didn’t tell” kind of mindset. Whether that be because they got used to no one calling them by their name or because they don’t really see himself as a person anymore, they don’t really care for their name. Or, on the other side, are incredibly defensive over their name as it's probably the last tie they have to their human life. Either way, they don’t give it out all that freely.

I‘ve had a thought about Pet and Asirel and their environment for a bit now, and I wanted to get your opinion on it. Obviously, Pet attends meetings and such with Asirel as his guard dog, basically (technically bodyguard, but I feel like guard dog is a better way to describe them because of their personality lol). Asirel must pay attention because this is his life and his career. But, Pet doesn’t necessarily have to do the same. Outside of paying attention to their surroundings, how much of the conversations happening are they taking in. I kinda think of it in three ways:

1) They truly couldn’t care less and is just there to protect Asirel

2) They passively take in information but aren’t really putting in any effort into gathering said information

3) They are paying attention (I‘d think they’d be discreet about it, pretending like they didn’t care while secretly paying close attention) and is actively gathering information

I just wanted to get your opinion on this side of Pet ‚cause I find it interesting

Does Asirel know about New Orleans being the mythic hub of the world? Does Pet know? If so have they ever been there?

The way it was phrased in the latest episode, it seems like Pet has lived most of their life in isolation (more or less), so they haven't had the proper mentorship or guidance to deal with life as what they've become (if I'm not mistaken), do you think that impacted their ability to get along with other mythics? Or people in general?

Do they have any friends?

I wouldn't be surprised if Asirel has heard rumours, but I doubt that Pet knows.

I think Pet living in isolation has definitely stunted their ability to get along with other people in general.

In one of your old Q&A, you've mentionned that Asirel's sister is married and you also said that Asirel's mother and sister lives in Asirel's mansion but its way too big so they don't see eachother that much.

But I might be ALL wrong since i've read that a long time ago…

Does Asirel get along with his sister's husband/wife? Was it an arranged marriage ? Lastly, do Vanessa and her partner see eachother often?
