Ashu Rai is a resident DJ and co-founder of Desilicious, NYC's only monthly LGBT South Asian dance party since March 2002. She has performed at many of the premiere dance clubs in NYC, including Limelight, Pacha, Club Shelter, Pyramid, Highline Ballroom, Touch and Rebel. She has also taken the Desilicious party and her signature mix of Bollywood-House music to the Amsterdam's Paradiso for the India Festival.
