They are also competitive as fuck. Like they have an ongoing bet that if Ash gets Smriti out then the latter will cook AND wash the dishes and if Smriti takes Ash's catch, then Ash will do the same. If neither of those things happen, Smriti cooks and Ash washes the dishes

Ash starts flirting with Smriti to annoy her but ends up surprised when instead of Smriti, she is the one distracted more.

PRANK WARS!!! After they get together, they organise an annual prank war for 3 days straight for each other and their friends (they usually are against each other BUT if they team up, the only ones who have been able to defeat Ashriti are Shafali and surprisingly Pratika)

In the early stages of their relationship, both of them tried to portray themselves as 'perfect' because both of them were insecure and thought that the other person would leave if they were anything less than perfect. (It took a lot of communication and maybe couples therapy to get out of that mindset)

The main victims of Smriti's obliviousness have been Harman and her brother. Both of them have had to listen to this stupid oblivious sapphic talk about how much she 'hates' her 'rival' (when they meet for the first time, they have like a spiderman moment while pointing at each other)

Smriti's mom LOVES Ash for a reason unknown to anyone (she saw how Smriti smiles so much more brightly around that girl and decided that if someone can make her daughter smile like that, then she is also gonna love her like a daughter)
