So, it's pretty interesting being a system.
Especially when it comes to all of us who are fablings
I, the host, am very interested in neuroscience and how systems work. (Funny how I never realized I was a system until my siblings who are a diagnosed system said that what I experienced isn't a normal singlet/kin experience. XD)
Learning that introjects have a base: the person they're introjecting from.
Then, building up the lore/canon from things such as headcanons/fan works/theories.
Then going to any other medias you may have watched/read/played and taking attributes from people from those sources and building it upon the base.
Also doing the same thing as step 3 but now it's with real people the brain has met.
Finally you have a full formed introject.
At least, that's how we saw it briefly explained. And it's very interesting because I've been looking at 3 of us in particular and figuring out how they came to be, specifically in regards to step 3.
Jax was pretty easy to pin down: getting trapped in a video game by putting on a VR headset? Yeah, that's the Amazing Digital Circus, but also, his human form he has/remembers is heavily based on Kazuto Kirigiya aka Kirito. Obviously not 1-to-1 but you can see it, especially when he remembers being part Japanese. (He can't tell if half or a quarter)
Then, I looked over at Rouge the Bat and there's definitely some Team Rocket Jessie influences. Surprisingly, she also is based somewhat off Jules from the movie "Rio" that I saw when I was like 10??? Then I looked at step 4 that takes place at the same time as step 3 and realized that she's also based off 2 artists I was listening to a lot around the time she formed.
Ashley Graves has a few influences that really messed up due to her now having crossover canons and AUs galore that she hates talking about. Like Undertale, Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, some type of vampire media (can't tell which one(s) since I was watching a lot around that time), and then again; step 4: a few true crime documentaries I had been watching for the past 2 years.
The others have some other influences, but haven't really figured out what they are yet. Anyway! I just thought it was interesting. I always really like how the brain works and how it creates whole other beings and people inside itself. I like to believe that it's not just creating people, but also wandering souls are drawn to it as it's creating. :3
