This is from yesterday's jazz performance.

Another artist I look up to is Al Jarreau. I am currently tackling this song, both for uni and also for my band. I love a good challenge, especially one with such a complicated rhythm/melody. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do. Ashlea Jaye

First up, is the Queen himself, Freddie Mercury. As some of you may know, I performed this song last year. I studied this video for hours on end, making sure I could capture even the slights amount of theatrics this man puts into his music. This man, and a very few others, helped me to realise that theatrics in music can help one not only put on a show, but to help over come stage fright, something that I still battle with today. Anyway, enjoy this video, there are more to come. Ashlea Jaye
