Oh shit !  Pepper looked blankly down towards the little pink plus sign; her mind running at high speeds to process what exactly she was seeing. It wasn’t any cheap three dollar pregnancy test, she had sprung for the good stuff  ---  or as good as a home test could be without actually submitting herself for a medical examination. Somehow she felt her potential new addition was not a high priority for the medical services right now; and asking FRIDAY to complete a medical scan was too risky. Tony had wanted this once, the day she thought she lost him he had practically begged her for this. So much had changed in two months; Tony’s health was far from optimal from his ordeal. Stress; that was the only thing she felt at the sight of her test result. 

So much so that Pepper hadn’t realised just how long she’d been in the bathroom until a knock at the door startled her.  “ Uh... occupied. Just a minute. ”  she called out weakly, quickly snatching the test up, along with it’s box and hiding it behind her makeup storage.

lol um you weren’t the one who was just casually checking out a new album and got hit with it at 4 am. i’m sorry. 

Carol couldn’t help but smirk slightly as she landed once more; her helmet retracting back into her suit, allowing blonde waves to fall free once more. “ What was that thing you just used? I only caught the result, but it felt very Star Wars-y. ”

“ okay, how about i place an order for take-out and you tell me what’s really going on? ”
