I love how this photo really caught my attention and encouraged me to look further into the image as a whole.  The surrounding, the sky, the clothing, the positioning of the models, and how each element held an importance in portraying a message. I love how the image shows a hint of free spirited youth, a reflection on our current generation and their lifestyle.  It depicts a story of being bold, however, the use of mirrors in the photo allows for anonymity. This draws a parallel with the culture of this generation and how they primarily communicate and express themselves.  It highlights the issue of social media and contrasts a need to be noticed and acknowledges with a simultaneous want to be invisible.  The incorporation of the mirrors invites the viewer to projects themselves onto the photograph.  This evokes a sense of wonder and mystery and encourages self reflection.  The narrative of today’s society contrasts with the bare landscape and deserted scenery of the photo which holds a powerful message, reinforced with the deep, cold tones of the sky.
