Hyeon was comfortable on the couch, a blanket was covering most of his form, he was hugging a pillow to his chest while one hand was fighting with some popcorn that simply didn't want to be picked up by the young psychology student. He heard the door, then the keys, which had him sit up slightly. "Babe!" He called out happily because sure, watching true crime on the couch, with popcorn and a fireplace crackling sounded like a perfect saturday night to Hyeon but it would be so much better with the older man joining him.
"You got here just right." He licked his lips, finishing to chew his popcorn. "They are now interviewing the killer and ask him about his motives. Can you believe it, he killed 7 people in a year and hid them all over his property. He patted the spot next to him on Haeseoks couch, acting just like he was at home despite staying at the other mans place. "Come come, take off your jacket and sit with me. Or did you want to get changed first? I can press stop for you?"

Ian’s absentminded gaze melted into a sheepish smile, cradling his chin on his palm as he stirred his iced coffee drink with his straw, swirling what was left of the whipped cream that he hadn’t nibbled off into little spirals. In spite of this his gaze did not leave his fellow angel sitting across from him; he’d already been caught, no sense pretending he hadn’t been staring while spacing out.
“What’s it like being a Guardian?” he asked in that perpetually interested way of his that gave one the impression he hung on every word. The young couple at the table across the courtyard that he’d come to ‘help along’ momentarily forgotten — they had the rest of their lives together, love could indulge him for a moment in his own curiosities.

It’s not all pretty, I mean, I’ve seen Princess Mononoke probably twelve times, a lot of limbs get severed in that and there are giant wolves on the attack. But there’s this sense of, like, a peace that’s going to last beyond humanity. And that we can settle into it if we stop fighting for awhile and listen.

"What the heck." This... This wasn't part of the plan. This was supposed to be fun, but what was the fun in teleporting to the other's place?! They were supposed to be the one to come to her. Did Navi read the spell wrong? Although faes had a weird sense of humour even among their own kind. Perhaps Navi still had some sleepy berries in the little jar of their pocket if they had to leave and play it out like this was a dream within a dream. But, oh, right, they were sitting on top of him. It shifted off them. "Soo... You live here?" Don't forget the friendly smile!
