So it’s been a while, and for that I apologise! BUT I have funky new stuff to share with you, so I am hoping that makes up for it. If you follow me on facebook (click here if you want to!) then a while ago I posted this incredibly flattering picture:

  The face mask i am donning is by the brand Ash & Clay, and I am so glad I found them. If you’re a Canberran, then get your butt down to the Old Bus Depot Markets on a Sunday and you can find the products there and give them a test run. If you don’t live in Canberra, then I suggest you visit the website here, and have a look at what this awesome brand has to offer! 

I bought two face masks originally (super affordable), and then last weekend i picked up a facial cleanser. I honestly love the products so far. The brand philosophy is simple: using natural ingredients to nourish the skin. The products are all handmade and come in really nice, rustic packaging. 

On the left we have the Rejuvenating mask, made with French Pink and Kaolin clay, and enriched with goat's milk. This mask helps to restore tired and dull skin, and i can attest to how smooth and moisturised your skin feels after use. 

On the right is the Seaweed and Tamanu mask, made with Seaweed, Green and Kaolin clay, Tamanu and Tea Tree oil, as well as some Lavender. This mask is designed to stimulate circulation, flush toxins and reduce any inflammation. 

I've tried both of these masks and i really, really, love them. They are dry masks, the idea being that you mix them with whatever liquid you choose to make a paste, and then apply. This way they have a longer shelf life and you can get creative with the liquid you mix them in. I really like using green tea - just make some ahead of time so it's cool when you apply it on your face though!

The Seaweed and Tamanu one has a very strong scent, that can irritate the eyes so i suggest keeping it well away from the eye area. When i used that one, i could actually feel my pores tightening up. I would recommend this one to teens or anyone struggling with congested skin. My favourite of the two is the Rejuvenating mask, simply because  it is more suited to my skin type. I love how soft my skin feels after using it, and it has a really comforting, clean smell. 

The Peppermint cleanser is great to use in the morning. The scent is so  energising! If you hate the smell or feel of mint though, then this probably isn't for you. Personally, i love mint in anything, so i really enjoy using this. It does look a little like baby poop when you use it, but it offers a really solid clean. On my skin it feels a little drying sometimes, so i tend to use this every second day, or just at night before i pop on my serum and night cream. 

All in all, i am really impressed with this brand. I'm loving using natural handmade products at the moment, and can't wait to test out some more of the products!
