Both my doll friends are being annoying about me getting a Labubu, so now I must turn to Tumblr to enjoy my spoils with others.
There's really mainly just the one of these little guys that I want want (Zizi, the purple one with closed eyes), but I adore this pink guy more than I expected now that I got him in person. I have a green one out for delivery too (not sure why it wasn't dropped off in the mailbox with this one, but another postal truck just drove by so maybe it's in that one lmao).
Had to get these through the uh...Pop Now system because the regular stock page sold out in less than a minute. β°οΌβ΅β‘β²οΌβ― Took a helluva lot of tapping through each set of boxes to finally find some that hadn't been snagged lmao.
Anyway, they're very cute (and so soft~), so definitely can see why there is a craze for them right now, but I'm praying for the downfall of the Labubu market so I can get a Zizi for cheap lmao.

Orderd this dress from Ti&To a little while ago and it arrived yesterday (though I didn't grab it from the mailbox until today since I was being lazy when I realized it arrived via notification last night lmao).
I knew it was going to be too long on Rhonwen, but I figured I'd take a shot anyway, and honestly, it does look terribly cute on her. I plopped her in some thick soled boots after snapping this picture, and that helped with the height a little bit. On top of that, the chunky boots + snazzy dress look is excellent haha.
Here's my new surprise arrival! If you missed my post earlier this morning, I got a package from my friend Rae with surprise contents and it ended up being the big version of Asella Raspberry.
I was one of many people that got scammed out of their Asella doll ordered through JpopDolls (in my case I'd ordered a mini Raspberry in coffee skin back in 2020), and had just washed my hands of the whole business (after writing out all details about it on the wiki page for JpopDolls haha). I've had several opportunities to try getting this doll again (via Asella's own preorder for the dolls, as well as potentially buying her secondhand from cesspit, which is the Raspberry I'd fallen in love with originally), but the whole situation soured me so much on the doll I didn't even want her anymore and simply moved on with my collecting. Hell there was even a Raspberry for sale at Resin Rose that I didn't even consider buying. xD
And now I have this girl that my friend surprised me with and jfdkafdsafmdaf. T AT I'm in a box of emotion!
That said, I'm not 100% sure if she'll be sticking around or not. I'd originally planned on making this sculpt into Qianna, but that position has already long since been filled. xD So I'm gonna have to sit with her for a while and get a feel for what kind of look I want for her and all that. Other than the janky knees (and I though my DollsTown Elf girl's knees were bad ahahaha), she's a very lovely lady, and 50cm is my favorite doll height, so I ain't too perturbed by that hahah.
Anyway, here she is wearing Abyss's wig for now because I don't have much of anything else that fits on her big ol' head haha. Not looking forward to the hours I will likely spend this weekend trying on the SD-sized clothes I have on her to get an idea of what does and doesn't fit lmao. That's always the trouble with the odd-sized dolls.
