With it being office christmas party season, I thought I’d share that I spontaneously put in noise cancelling headphones at my office Christmas party (no one knows Im AuDHD) and no one batted an eye
They also (without asking particularly why or what was wrong) let me stay in a separate room from everyone else for a while where it was quiet
A lot of the time I am disheartened by how the world appears to be treating disabled people. But sometimes, things like this show me that people are moving in the right direction
