Its nice to have a snack on hand, cause these things take forever. That it pisses them off even further is just a bonus.
Look, I appreciate that you think it’s funny, I just don’t want it to be in that specific moment of my story. Maybe at a later point, but Ardyn in that particular moment is just too tired and in emotional pain to do much of anything. He’s dealing with trauma being dumped on his head again—I can say from experience that you have no appetite when that shit happens. In fact, he’d be more likely to throw up at the first whiff of food than to actually get through a bowl.
It’s nice to have people bounce ideas back and forth with me, but please learn to accept it when an author says they don’t want a specific thing to happen in their fic.
Just, please keep that in mind for the future. In a purely cracky fic, yeah, I’d take that suggestion, but this isn’t a just a crack fic, and I’ve already said twice that I don’t want the ice cream to be in that scene. Please stop pushing.
This goes for everyone, not just you. Brainstorming with other people is a great thing, but at some point it all comes down to the author’s decisions, and a fic writer is not obligated to write to their readers’ specifications. Ultimately, any fic is the author’s creation, to do with as they see fit.

Swapping point of views always helps when im stuck. Or maybe you can do a time skip and refer to the time in between the scenes only in flashbacks?
