Kurt’s birth middle name is Elijah but after his mom died he adopted his mom’s name as his middle name. Eventually he plans on making this official.

After not getting into NYADA Kurt was lost, no direction and no idea what to do, and took several odd jobs until he finally had someone recommend a position at Ohio State University teaching additional dance classes to remedial students. The pay isn’t nearly as good as it could be but it’s a lot more than a barista or a waiter, thankfully.

With his new salary he was able to get a little 3-bedroom house with a patio in Lima, and a roommate that’s studying Architecture at Ohio State that’s rarely home but has been trying - and failing - to get Kurt into partying when he is home.

Kurt’s dream is still New York with Rachel and Blaine but he doesn’t know how that’s going to happen now, so he’s trying to make do with what’s been thrown his way instead.

When he’s got free time Kurt tries to help Mr. Schuester with New Directions, always more than happy to donate his music knowledge to the club that helped his confidence soar.
