Awkward & Sick // Ryannon
Shannon laid on her bed with the TV on. Â With a bottle of water next to her, she stared at the ceiling, realizing that she wasn't ready to face him. Â She was hurt. Â And during the premiere, they hadn't talked much. Â Her replies were fragments, just a couple of words. Â She rested her hand on her tummy, thinking of the poor little baby inside that would have to deal with her as the mother. Â The baby who would grow up with a father who made its mother feel like she was a piece of shit -- like she meant nothing. Â
Nauseated by the thought, Shannon rolled onto her side and closed her eyes. Â But she knew if she'd fall asleep, she'd have the bad images. Â She'd see them together. Â Sleeping was not an option. Â Not tonight. Â Not for a while.
