You've been gone for a while now.
When will you be home?
“But if you’re feeling lonely, I should be back next week.”
𝐎𝐎𝐂 ⸺ For context, this iteration of the Ouroboros came to Earth in a certain organisation’s attempt to study a “Void Mirror.” The organisation’s experiments went awry, and all personnel in the remote facility perished upon assimilating with the entity that came from beyond the mirror (the Ouroboros). While this entity was initially detained by for further research, it managed to escape and disappear by replacing the human Itsuki Amano and taking over his life.
After many years, the organisation tracked the Ouroboros down and gave it an ultimatum: It could either fake Itsuki Amano’s death and voluntarily submit to incarceration, or the organisation could force it to return by killing all of its friends. Naturally, it chose the path of least resistance. The above comic depicts the Ouroboros on probation; it is allowed to live amongst humans (posing as one in public), but must always be on call for when the organisation requires its abilities. Its current case features a series of murders that reek of a desperation that reminds it of Killer Girl. }}
