Work Description: I'm offering a single Steve/Tony fic in the likely range of 10-15K. Could go higher, won't go lower, but that's probably my sweet spot. Long experience in exchanges has taught me that I work best when given a big list of ideas and preferences (tropes, scenarios, what ifs, general likes) rather than super specific/detailed prompts, though I'm more than happy to brainstorm your prompts, I just can't commit to a certain one of them. Another thing I've learned over the years is that the more I have to work with, the faster I'm likely to finish. It's the initial inspiration that takes me time, not so much the actual writing. My intention would be to complete the first of my three fic auctions by the end of the southern hemisphere summer, ie February 2021. All things being equal, the first would be the one that had the highest successful bid, but if I was particularly inspired by one project it might jump the queue. The others would then follow at natural downtime periods at work, likely April and July. I welcome inquiries by email or twitter DM.

Review: This fic was downright painful to read and not just because of the relationship between Steve and Tony. The interactions between Tony and Howard were just as bad if not worse because of the way we all know Tony feels about his dad. Their conversations were interesting and also heartbreaking but I’m happy with the way everything turned out. If you’ve finished picking up the pieces after ‘Slipping Through the Years’ give this one a go. It’s not quite as hard to get through without tears.

And Has Time Enough by wanttobeatree (Steve/Tony - 16k - Gen) Tony asks if they have met. It's a matter of perspective. (A Time Traveller's Wife AU.)

Simply one of the loveliest things I've ever read. The writing is beautiful, and the way the author weaves together different strands of time into something seamless and circular took my breath away and demanded a reread. 

Note that while this fic is rated G, the kissing and the fuzzy intimacy at the end are almost as satisfying as any love scene could have been.

Be No Stranger (All Your Saints and Soldiers Remix) by jibrailis (Steve/Tony - 6k - Teen) That's the twenty-first century love song, baby. Glitz and glamour and every one of us is a liar.

If you haven't read everything by jibrailis, you should. She writes beautifully, and this little gem is no exception. This is Tony Stark disassembled and seen through his own eyes, imagining how it's being seen through Steve's as Steve saves him again and again, all while waiting for Tony to save him.

This is one of the very first fics for this fandom I fell head-over-heels in love with. Another circular fic that demands a re-read, just for the sheer joy of discovering all the little pieces the author left for you to find once you knew the secret of the story. 

Also, it's pretty damn sexy.
