For awhile I've been wanting to try a take two of the first watercolor I attempted outside of school. I posted it three and a half years ago and apparently was too unsure to post a full view of the actual picture 😅 it's bizarre to see physical representations of the place I was in then vs. where I am now next to each other. Eager to know how things will change three and a half years from now. Onward~ . . .
Just wanted to post a few of the paintings I did in 2018 that I’m really happy with! Like a throwback type post I guess haha. This year’s been crazy for me and I feel like my art has changed a lot.
Throwback to this piece I created a few years ago—it’s a blend of life, death, and nature’s resilience. Looking back at it now, I feel nostalgic for the way I approached these themes at the time. It’s a piece that reminds me how far I’ve come while staying true to the subjects I’m passionate about.
