Latest WIP! After taking some time to rest, I'm back on the "Wyrmfang Grin" project. I’ve hit a snag and realized the original canvas was too small, so I've started redrawing it from scratch. It's a bit of a bummer, but I want to make sure I get the details right!

I wanted to give you an honest update on why there's no art update. I've been experiencing a very difficult period with my mental health over the past week, battling severe depression that has impacted me both emotionally and physically, to the point of struggling with nausea and eating.

Because of this, I've decided to take a much-needed break from art for the rest of this week to focus entirely on my recovery. My health has to come first, and I need this time to rest and recharge.

I'm hoping to be back in the studio and creating again next week, feeling better and refreshed. Thank you so much for your understanding, patience, and continued support. It means more than you know.

Latest WIP on Wyrmfang Grin! Progress this week has been quite a bit slower than I'd planned. Dealing with my mental health has made it hard to get to the tablet and find the will to work.

Fresh off the digital canvas! Introducing my newest creature sketch: "Wyrmfang Grin". Right now, she's all lineart, caught in a prowling stance, with a fascinating snarl-and-smile expression.

She's done! "The Veil-Hound" is officially complete! This piece tested my patience with slow progress and some tricky reworks (and battling a heatwave!), but I'm so relieved and happy to have pushed through to the finish line.

Latest WIP on "The Veil-Hound"! Progress has been quite slow this week due to the intense heat (seriously, my tablet feels like a mini-heater!). I've been actively avoiding anything that makes me hotter!

Despite the heatwave, I'm almost done with one of the back legs, and I'm pretty pleased with it! There isn't a lot left on the entire piece, so once the weather breaks, I should be able to power through and finish "The Veil-Hound" in the next week or two. Fingers crossed for cooler days!

Latest WIP on "The Veil-Hound"! I've been diving into the ribs and general body work, and I'm really pleased with the progress. It's moving along nicely, and I'm feeling a good flow with this piece.

Latest WIP on "The Veil-Hound"! This past week has seen some slow progress. I ended up reworking parts of the neck because it wasn't quite sitting right, and shifted focus to other areas for a "change of scenery" while the arm awaits its full completion.

Latest WIP on "The Veil-Hound"! I've started shading on one of her forelimbs. The last week was a real personal challenge – recovering from a procedure and then battling a cold with a fever. It certainly slowed things down!

New creature sketch! Meet "The Veil-Hound". This is just the line art for now, but I'm already hooked on its eerie vibe. That unsettling, unmoving stare and its almost ghostlike appearance... I can't wait to begin the shading process.

Flashback to this old illustration of Alice's tumble into Wonderland! 🎩🍄 I remember really enjoying capturing that moment of falling into the unknown. It's a fun one to revisit and see the magic in my earlier work.

New creature alert! 💀 Meet "The Unfurled". This sketch is still in its lineart phase, but I'm really excited about the concept. She's a skeletal, feminine creature with a large, toothy face, emerging and almost melting into the ground and surrounding vegetation. She doesn't even have arms, just stretches up from the earth.

Throwback to this silly sketch of my cat, Reika, on a space adventure! 🐱🚀 It's based on my headcanon that she's a tiny alien who crash-landed here and is now pretending to be a normal cat.

Progress update on the "Pallid Whisper"! The shading is going well, and I'm starting to get a better sense of its overall presence. I'm aiming to have this completed by the end of next week.

Found this old sketch in my archives! I never got around to finishing it, but there's something about its raw energy and the feeling it evokes that I still connect with. It's like a glimpse into a world I only partially created.
