Concept Nationās Artist Interview #7: Artist of the Month
āAs I dug deeper, I started to realize that I loved doing this and want to do it for the rest of my life.ā

Q. Where did you attend university and how did you stumble upon art?
A: I am currently doing engineering and giving my final semester exams. Art has always been a hobby and something I enjoyed. During my years in college, I began working for the cultural festival which I immersed myself completely in. While designing posters and getting acquainted with design software, I decided to explore further. I also did a short course in Graphic Design simultaneously while pursuing my studies in engineering. As I dug deeper, I started to realize that I loved doing this and want to do it for the rest of my life.
Q. How would you describe your art style as?
A: Currently itās just what I feel like expressing, sort of similar to a detox. I like patterns a lot as you can see from my designs. Although I do not like to restrict myself to a certain type.
Q. Who are your favorite artists and designers who inspire you?
A: I love Malika Favre, Steve Simpson, Sanna Annukka and Tobias Hall. Among Indian designers, I love Prabha Mallya, Mira Malhotra, Broti Bhattacharya, Gaurav Basu and Sameer KulavoorāsĀ work.
Q. If not art, what do you think you would be doing?
A: Ah-ha! Iād love to be a singer or a musician. Also I love my Saturday nights watching a good movie on a laptop. So I would do a lot of that.
Q. What is your take on the future of art & design?
A: It is going to get much more relevant than it is now. Futuristic design already is and will continue to help make better products, communication tools and eventually a much better lifestyle for all.
Q. Why did you choose to work with Concept Nation and How was your experience working with us?
A. I liked the whole idea of working with a #Concept, creating groups and showcasing work among other artists. I found it interesting and got curious, hence decided to try it. Here we are today.
