Me: “I found him. I can finally watch him whenever I want.”
Friend: “You found that artist you like on DeviantArt?”
Me: “Yep. ”
Artstalking: Andrea Joseph
Oh mygosh, I think I found my role model. Just stumbled upon these daily sketches from Andrea Joseph and I am crazy about them!
The details in her sketches are amazing, but what I love about her is her commitment to draw everyday. Random things that catch her fancy become immediate subjects and voila! Moleskine pages turned into artworks!
When I feel the urge to draw, I am blocked by thinking of what to draw when in fact anything as mundane as a set of keys, a pile of postcards, and a few pens can be a source of inspiration. The important thing is to get your pencil and your paper and just get drawing. It's all about practicing how to see.
How wonderful is her ultra-realistic shading technique?
*sigh*
I love her and I wanna be her friend.
