Thank you all so very much for joining me today during instalive with my special guest, Miranda with @sophiessecretpostcard and inquiring about their postcard art open call to benefit the charity auction with all proceeds benefiting The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. ⠀ ⠀ I am including slides of their open call that was posted a few months ago and it includes their mailing address (see 3rd slide) and FAQ.⠀ ⠀ The auction which is set for June for 10 days and ending on Sat., June 27th on Ebay, is run by volunteers at St. Richard's Catholic College. ⠀ ⠀ Some details from live:⠀ 🎨Any artist of any age worldwide can submit (schoolchildren too). ⠀ 🎨No theme, but original works only in postcard size 148 mm x 105mm (U.S. standard postcard size is okay). Thick or watercolor paper or thin cardboard recommend ⠀ 🎨Can be in any 2D medium⠀ 🎨Artist signature and title of work to be written on back of postcard. Can add social media details for their website ⠀ 🎨The artist remains a secret until after the auction ⠀ 🎨Postcards must be mailed in an envelope ⠀ ⠀ Sophie's Postcard Catalog 2020 is available for pre-order which will include all of the works with artist's name The design finalized after the auction.
