Pírate commission and a wonderful collaboration with #christopherprain #christopherchanond , the coveted interior and furniture designer. A Drinks Cabinet inspired by one of my ATC pencil drawings. My job was to prepared the panel doors with guesso -the Renaissance formula with marble powder, 8 coats of that- sand and polish them, readying them for the pencil drawing. Since it is a cabinet and a functional piece, it has to stand use and abuse, so there drawing directly on gesso sorted a conservation problem of using paper.
