Ciambs21-''Society 2k25''

In this painting, I tried to capture what I feel every day—walking among people, living connected, exposed, constantly watched. Society 2k25 is an architectural distortion of reality: a world made of eyes embedded in walls, buildings, faces. Eyes everywhere—red, tired, hungry. No one really sees, but everyone is watching.

At the center, a human face: mouth wide open, tongue out, teeth showing—half defiance, half nervous laughter. That’s my silent scream. That’s the "me" trying to exist, to break through the noise of surveillance and conformity. It’s a childish and desperate gesture, a face pulled against the perfect machine of society swallowing us whole.

The sharp, black lines slicing the space represent artificial borders—houses, cities, thoughts, roles. But they’re also cages.

Society 2k25 isn’t just a vision of the future. It’s an emotional self-portrait of how we already live—inside a panopticon of pixels, gazes, and masks. We are seen by everyone, but no one really looks. So I show myself like this: tongue out, surrounded by a thousand staring eyes.
