Displacement of Working Objects by Viviana Palacio for BoldPas today till 8 pm👍🏻“Displacement of Working Objects” – Evoking Pasadena’s past as a citrus grove capital, the installation places together found wooden orchard ladders formerly used for fruit picking🍊 This installation is an ode to the citrus-grove history of Pasadena, was purposefully sited and placed against the Union Building, which owned by Mr. Russ Hanlin💖our amazing landlord, who passed earlier this year. He was the best landlord ever🙏🏻We love Mr. Hanlin❤️Mr. Hanllin happened to be the President Emeritus of the Sunkist Corporation🍊Every Christmas, Mr. Hanlin would give each tenant a case of Sunkist orange and a bag of Sunkist orange candy🍭We miss Mr. Hanlin, and we are sure he will love this installation👏🏻Many thanks to Viviana Palacio for this wonderful installation and huge thanks to Old Pasadena Management @oldpasadena for organizing such a memorable event👏🏻👏🏻
