Something different today rather than the continually mounting evidence against the PCU’s deplorable behavior. We shall preface this however as a story from a single side of the matte, working with the evidence presented to our team. An individual contacted CoAD recently with allegations of harassment, silencing and overall unpleasant and bullying actions conducted towards them. The player in question Tahlrana victimised the player for what amounts to “asking too many questions” Then doctored screenshots against said player and used them to further blacken their name. Said actions were also apparently given the greenlight by other prominent and well known artists within that community, with the player in question feeling attacked to the point they felt they are unable to market their art to any significant degree due to this monopolistic like group controlling access to artists and their audience. This also stretched into another group in where the player in question was present, with Tahlrana proceeding to “call them out” in public for their supposed “issues.” Far from us here at CoAD to not take issue with the plight of this player. Any group that attempts to monopolise a niche or sector of the overall community runs a clear risk of an abuse of power and influence. In the case of this, with artwork involving real money being involved and the clear harassment of players on the mere basis of them “being annoying”, we can only speculate the level of problematic practices being performed as well which can include price fixing and other actions designed to be unfriendly to the consumer. That is not to say all members of this group are at fault, only a small handful of players with notable influence did nothing to protest the treatment of a fellow player and artist.

Truly, those who feel like they cannot speak out against oppression are clear signs that there is something flawed taking place. A consolation is that Tahlrana was found to be even more perfidious than expected, being proven to have stolen art through traces quite well proving that that a leopard does not change its spots, a rotten apple remains rotten. ------------------------------------- The player who contributed this story also provided considerable corroborating evidence, however some is of a more sensitive nature. Said evidence may be procured on request, provided the request is genuine and not with malicious intent. We can only hope that in highlighting this issue, a greater awareness of how bullying and harassment can easily take place when power is concentrated into the hands of one person can be. For those parties involved (no doubt they are aware of who they are, as confided in us by the contributing player) any contrary evidence to the materials provided to our team is also appreciated.
