“Is this really practical?” Raphael frowned at the thick armor weighing his limbs down. “Not to mention, capes are more often a hindrance than—”

“It’s a cosplay, Raphael! It isn’t meant to be practical; it’s all about the aesthetics!” You explained, snapping photos on your D.D.D. like your life depended on it. “Look this way please!”

The angel huffed quietly but did as he was told.

“WHOAAAA this guy is awesome!” Levi’s eyes sparkled as he read up on the lore behind Raphael’s character. “He’s a prince from an ice kingdom, he's a fighter and a strategist, and he spent half a war in enemy territory gathering intel while trying to assassinate their tyrant of a leader… Wait, doesn’t he wield a sword?”

“Raphael wouldn’t do it unless I let him use a spear.”

“Figures.”

You turned to Levi with a helpless shrug. “So long as he agreed to put on the costume, I wasn’t going to complain. Besides, he still looks good—”

There was a loud thump, and then: “Aahhhh Raphael! Are you okay?!” Luke wailed.

To your shock, Raphael had collapsed onto the ground in an unmoving heap. It could be your imagination, but you swore there was steam coming off his clothes.

It seemed that despite hailing from a realm with eternal daylight, angels weren’t totally immune to heat strokes. No wonder Raphael’s and Simeon’s outfits always showed so much skin…
