1. Full acoustic set Friday night at Tappen Park around 8:00 ft. Danny Villalba on percussion (follow him @http://devillonline.tumblr.com/)-and I will be receiving my first grant ever in an award ceremony that same night (see previous blog post on that)! Tappen Park is a cute little park at the intersection of Water, Bay, and Canal Streets, so bring a blanket or a chair to sit on and come hear some live music.  =)

2. Also performing in the Art By the Ferry Festival in Borough Hall Park, which is right across the street from the St. George Ferry Terminal (just go out the Richmond Terrace exit and walk straight). My set is on Saturday at 4:00 PM, but there will be music all day, so come listen and listen to the other local artists who are playing!

It's super important that Staten Islanders support the local art scene and ensure that creativity continues to thrive here. And both of these events are absolutely free and conveniently located for those who don't want to go to Manhattan or Brooklyn to hear great music. See you there!
