The 13th century Church of Mary the Consoler (PanayĆa ParighorĆtissa) in Arta, Epirus, Greece. It was commissioned by the despot of Epirus, Nikephóros AĀ“ Komnenós DoĆŗkas, his wife Anna PalaeologĆna and their son ThomĆ”s, as reads an inscription in the main entrance. The Ministry of Culture just announced a period of restorative works for the monument.Ā
