The 13th century Church of Mary the Consoler (Panayía Parighorítissa) in Arta, Epirus, Greece. It was commissioned by the despot of Epirus, Nikephóros A´ Komnenós Doúkas, his wife Anna Palaeologína and their son Thomás, as reads an inscription in the main entrance. The Ministry of Culture just announced a period of restorative works for the monument.
