#Repost @art2defy March 15th is the 6th year anniversary of the Syrian Revolution. In honor of the 6th year anniversary, we look back at one of the most popular revolutionary songs. Folk singer and protestor Ibrahim Kashoush composed this popular revolutionary song during the summer months of 2011. In late June of 2011, Ibrahim led thousands of demonstrators in chanting his composed song at the city centre in Hama. On Friday July first, an estimated 250,000 people joined in demonstrating at Hama's city centre. Four days after this massive demonstration, Ibrahim's body was found dumped in the Isa River with his adam's apple and voice chord removed from his body. Rest In Peace Ibrahim 🎼 #art2defy
