Drawing anything related to birds is equally a reminder to practice them more often and to never wander into that region of the animal kingdom ever again. Why are those flying bitches so fucking complex man 😵‍💫😵‍💫

sometimes what gets me to draw is the certainty that i will finish it and it will look decent, not that it will be beautiful and detailed and i'll spend hours on making it. i like timing my art and finishing something under an hour

Ragebaited myself again with stupid af headcanons for Solas as I sketched a simple background bc I wasn't in the mood to draw flowers for the pot near the couch on his rotunda so I scribbled a bonsai tree instead and as I worked on it I was thinking like "if there's a bonsai tree anywhere in Skyhold it would definitely be at that pretentious prick's room and I bet he would always whine (unprompted) about how no one keeps bonsai trees anymore while refusing to tell anyone how to grow them in the first place bc he's a pretentious prick-" next thing I knew I had to take a walk and come back to the sketch later bc I got so mad for no fucking reason lmao
