Matsuricon Masterpost!
So I'm finally back into the swing of things after a much needed day of rest. Matsuricon wore me out!! All in all, I really have to say this was one of the best weekends I've ever had.
To kick it off, I met one of my best friends for the first time in person on Thursday. vanduobones came all the way from Chicago to come sell with me this year!! It was truly amazing to meet her, and even though we ran into a couple small mishaps, I couldn't have been happier to be with her.
So the correlation between my prints and the voice actors/actresses that were there was outstanding. I was able to get my Jinx print signed by Sarah Williams as well as my Kill La Kill print signed by Erica Mendez (voice of Ryuuko) and Sarah Willaims (voice of Nonon). I was hoping to get them signed by the voice Satsuki, too, but she had left before I got a chance to have it signed. These will now be my display prints at cons and I will cherish them foreverrrrrrrr!!!
Now to my art trades! HOLEY MOLEY THERE WERE SO MANY FANTASTIC ARTISTS THERE. Amazing stuff was being sold, and I feel so honored to have other artists willing to trade their work with me. Even the most intimidating work I saw had artists behind it that couldn't have been sweeter. Take a look!
