Lately a lot of supercorp fans have are pointing out parallels between supercorp and other canon couples, as well as all the romantic tropes that applies to supercorp. I think that gives off an Impression that these other coupes or these other tropes are ideal or perfect. That's not the case.
Supercorp is heavily queerbaited. If you know what queerbating is, and if you have watched the show, it's obvious that it's queerbaited. It's so obvious and yet a certain part of Supergirl fandom refuses to acknowledge it. So even the simplest most obvious things needs to be pointed out.
Don't get me wrong I'm sure a lot of SC fans also ship/support various other couples supercorp has parallels with, and might like some or all the romantic tropes that supercorp follows. But that's not the point of of those comparisons. Maybe these other couples (Clois, Brainia, Westallen, Olicity, Avalance, various couples from Batwoman and Catradora being the few I've seen. Some I like, some I don't) are ideal and perfect, maybe they aren't. Maybe Lena filling Kara's office with flowers is a sign of a healthy, profound, romantic relationship maybe it isn't. That's really not the point here. The point is that Supercorp is ridiculously queerbaited.
