Traveling seemed to be the only thing Tifa could do in this new and strange world. Â It made her busy, preoccupying her from thoughts that she'd rather not have and made her feel as though she was doing something rather than nothing. Â It was wishful thinking if she considered there was an end to wherever she was, but taking a step forward was better than standing idly in her book. Â She had decided to venture off north; perhaps, if she knew her way around the realm, at the very least it would make things easier. Â It was difficult to just ask people things like where she was or where to go or what to do. Â No one else appeared particularly bothered or concerned by this new world--at least on the surface, anyway.
As she embarked on her journey, traveling on a walking route that would lead her to--Hevia, she believed, she took out the map that she somehow managed to retrieve in Polis and began deciphering it. Â The last thing that Tifa wanted was to get lost in uncharted waters.
She sighed. Â It wasn't like this was a big deal. Â She had been on long-winding journeys before with the gang back in the good, old days, but of course, this was different. Â For one thing, she was alone. Â The gang or AVALANCHE wasn't here. Â And for another thing, at least back then, she knew where she was and where she was going and what to do. Â Here, Tifa had a motivation--to return home--but without the way of getting there, she was pretty stumped for the most part, hence the traveling. Â If she was going to stuck here for a while, she might as well try to understand the place better and to have some familiar ground while she was at it. Â She had been through strange things before; she wouldn't let this get to her, too.
As the brawler lifted her gaze up from her map, she noticed that there was a sign plastered by the route. Â Next to it was a girl with pink rose-colored hair. Â Tifa beamed for a second. Â It was a person, an actual person. Â It had been a while since she bumped into someone while she was traveling. Â Tifa didn't want to bother the girl if she was busy and had her own things to take care of, but she yearned for an real conversation and some decent human contact. Â It wasn't exactly wonderful to be stuck all day with only her thoughts to keep her company.
"Um, are you heading somewhere, too?" she called out to the girl.
