Finally got a day off and managed a couple of drawings based off the sketches you shared last time, this time seeing some of the darker energy seeping out.

This is @waltercrowemakesart ‘s Chaos Demon Arrett oc

I was listening to his playlist, one of the songs was particularly unnerving, primarily by this sound that occasionally played it reminded me of this nightmare when I was very young.

"Do you know what I miss most about being a human?" Aro was reclining in an armchair, which was likely more expensive than anything Garrett had ever owned collectively, as he spoke.

Garrett, who had not expected Aro to speak so suddenly, looked up from what he had been so engrossed in and watched Aro as mused silently for a moment.

"What?"

"Hmm, the conversations over dinner. When the sun had gone down and you were surrounded by friends, drinking good wine and sharing your views on philosophy- there isn't much you can talk about with your mouthful of neck or wrist..." Trailing off Aro sounded almost disappointed with his own words, as though the memory was clear as day but the description felt empty.

"People still do that, just not always over dinner, I suppose," Garrett replied though he is sure Aro isn't even listening to him at this point. Not that he would hold it against the man.

"It isn't like you don't have people to talk to about this stuff with, you still have your entire coven." Pointing this out didn't seem to make Aro any happier yet he nodded in agreement with an expression that had Garrett convinced that he didn't agree with him at all.

"I am not lacking in companionship, this is true, perhaps I am just feeling nostalgic for those long-ago days. I am not sure how authentic my life was then, while some moments are crystal clear, the majority of my human memories have muddied over time. I am not fully aware of the person I once was."

There was no indication as to where this musing of Aro's was going, so Garrett continued on with what he had been doing before he had been interrupted to witness what was essentially more a monologue than a conversation.

After a long silence between the two of them, while Aro reminisced as best he could with what memories he could recall, Garrett carved a figure out of a spare block of wood he had lying around all the while trying to hold back saying what he was truly thinking.

In the end, he was unable to and with an audible sigh, he tossed the words into the air taking great care to make it sound as casual yet as measured as possible.

"I think you just miss being human."

It would be an absolute disaster.

Feathers? EVERYWHERE!

Flying so low they kick the backs of people's heads.

"I-is that moth man?"

"Nah it's the local drama queen it's chill."

Aro would have black wings like a crow all iridescent and pretty. But extremely ominous and outright fucking terrifying it he's flying around at night.

Garrett would have brown wings maybe like a barn owl. Great for blending in in the woods if he wants to hangout in a tree away from his boyfriend for a few minutes.

They would groom each others wings as an action of affection.

Human boyos again! Illness!

- If Garrett gets sick he just kind of walks it off? A cold? "Pfffft sure ok I'll just grab a bunch of tissues and get on with it!" Anything worse he might complain a bit about being too hot or cold but unless someone realises how sick he is he will just continue to walk the dog and get on with his day.

- Aro barely gets sick. He has no clue why or how but he doesn't really get anything more than sniffle which is absolutely bearable.

- Aro is the one that tells Garrett to remember to get vaccinated and see a doctor if he's sick. Thankfully they can just call Carlisle and he can doctor over the phone if need be.
