As soon as I've learned that Arpa's VA also voiced the Queen of Hearts in Disney Speedstorm and Kinect Disneyland Adventures I KNEW I had to draw something like this (★_★ )

I drew these because thinking about this sort of idea made me feel kinda melancholic. The thought of abandoned robots rusting, paint chipping, and wildlife taking over just made me lock in for a minute.

Robot & Monster is a cartoon that aired in 2012, when I was 7. It's actually very nostalgic for me, and I guess these pieces represent how the show just kinda stopped airing in, what, 2014? And how a majority of the world seemed to forget about its existence. (The robots were abandoned and the world moved on)

Yes, I KNOW that this is a kids' show, but I'm still gonna make fan art that has a deeper meaning😂

The piece with Gart and Arpa was actually my brother's idea. He thought it'd be cool and deep to have an animal living in Arpa's chest cavity.

I did consider making other pieces with other robot characters (I'm not drawing organics like this because that would look disturbing), but I already have a scrapyard, plants taking over, the sea, and repurpose. Eh, that's all I can think of to be honest. Maybe my next idea will be their abandoned apartment? I've been enjoying making these "melancholic" pieces.

i wanted to draw that too. ooouuugggghhh 💔💔 they are so terrible but the dynamic potentials between them are interesting to think about. arpa would be shocked but she still loves him in the end and will help him no matter what. he is the golden child after all
