-Honestly they were just fed up trying to explain their relationship

-Was it really so hard to understand a domestic partnership between two deeply involved people without sex or romance?

-Neither was particularly interested in that and their relationship as it was, was perfectly satisfying to them

-Unfortunately though, even though it wasn’t anyone’s business but theirs, people seemed obsessed with their literally nonexistent sex life and romance

-Certainly not them and it was annoying

-like they kiss him on his check once and suddenly everyone wants to know what it’s like dating him

-Making their own assumptions or telling them how horrible it is to deny having a relationship with him when he’s clearly head over heals! How could they lead him on?

-And it’s like no, just no

-Didn’t say they don’t love him, just that it’s not that type of love!

-He’s spotted buying something?

-Clearly a romantic gift for his special someone right?! It’s ok they don’t have to be all proud and secretive!

-Eventually (Yn) got so annoyed, they frustratedly agreed with the outlandish joke an interviewer made assuming they’d get it was sarcastic

-And now all of Japan thinks he’s their sugar daddy

-And figuring no one, save for some friends, would believe them if they corrected them they just go all the way in on it

-Like not even trying to be subtle about it all out too

-And honestly it’s way more fun pretending to be his ditzy play thing then expected

-Sometimes they let the interviewer make up their own strange story and just run with it adding even more ridiculous details as they go

-Honestly confuses everyone around them

-Bakugou isn’t the most openly affectionate person

-And (Yn) seems to not really like touching all that much, but is known to be more open with emotions

-So it’s strange to see them practically glued to each other’s side

-Whenever he was agitated and ready to snap, they seemed to know just what to do to soothe his nerves

-And he seemed in tune with them, always offering distractions and things to do when they were getting overwhelmed

-It looked like puppy love to everyone else

-Like the very beginnings of a deep and passionate love

-And no one knew how to mind their damn business about it and kept nosing around trying to find out more

-There’s nothing to find out though

-They are in love, just not the way anyone else is thinking

-The idea of that is mortifying to both and the one time they entertained the idea they both felt so gross and weird about it that they agreed to never think about it again

-Hard to do though

-Not when hanging out together always leads to someone trying to catch them being ‘romantic’ with each other

-If Bakugou has to explain his complete disinterest in sex and romance one more time only to be told that he clearly has a thing for (Yn) because he’s the only one that can get in their personal space without problems and he returns the favor

-He’s gonna lose it and actually murder someone

-Can’t a guy be close to someone who feels like he does and understands his boundaries the way he does theirs without their relationship to each other being analyzed?

-Definitely (Yn)’s idea to confuse them right back

-Oh? One of rare occasions they’re hugging because (Yn) actually wanted one and Baku makes an effort to make them feel comfortable about touching?

-“Aww, I knew you loved each other!” “The hell are you on about? I’m just trying to teach this idiot how you actually grapple someone!” “B-but you’re still—” “they’re really shit at it”

-Said while maintaining eye contact and playing with (Yn)’s hair and a look that says try to call me on it I dare you

-Up until they’ve met their touching limit and no longer wants the hug

“You know, I think we’re the same Kats”.

Any other day he wouldn’t have thought much about that. Would’ve snorted and brushed it off if it was anyone else. That person had to be delusional after all, comparing themselves to him.

In most situations he’d assume it was a desperate pathetic attempt to win him over and court him, but it wasn’t just anyone on just any day.

It was (Yn), one of the few Omegas in their former class. (Yn) who was impossibly gentle with him. Who held his hands through a panic attack without judgement. Who only had to hiss in warning when he got out of hand and started acting like an ass.

The only one, outside of Deku who knew he was an Omega until recently and the only one who seemed to genuinely get why he kept it secret util now. More than safety or pride. More than privacy.

“It’s tiring right? Knowing you don’t want anything to do with courtship when it’s all anyone else seems to care about”.

He just wanted to be treated like he was whole. Not broken or selfish. Just a whole functioning normal person like anybody else.

“Would you stop that? Stop getting in my fucking head like that. That shit’s annoying”.

He’d never admit that out loud though, not that he had too. Their rolling eyes and pulling him into the nest he’s slowly accidentally moved into spoke for itself.

Comfortable and cozy nothing grand the way others might expect, but perfect for the two who had no one to impress but the person they knew they were gonna spend forever with.
