I hate what the Trill rule against reassociation implies about romantic vs platonic relationships. "Just friends" are okay? There's nothing "just" about Dax and Sisko's relationship. If the rule really made sense, Dax would not have been allowed to reassociate with him. And if they're supposed to have new experiences with each host, why is it okay for Dax to work for the same organization and hang around the same people for three of them?

Do you ever feel so buried within the closet towards your family that when you finally come out the response you get is, “well, you’ve had crushes before,” when, in reality, you’ve just been pretending to be romantically attracted to people because you don’t want to be seen as a taboo topic within your own family unit, or is this just a me thing?

Funny how it's acceptable to go completely hysterical over not dating anyone cause being single ""sucks"", but if I went out & said I'd rather die than be in a relationship with a nonfictional person, I "should get help", it's "wild to say" & other similar nonsense, cause there's no way someone can't see something like that as too humiliating 🤨 & everything else/hyp

being aroace has gotta be the worst thing for me ever bc ill think about characters in my ships yearning for eachother & feeling the feeling of what they feel, ill yearn for whatever i imagine (usually from a song) only to remember ill never really want it & it makes me feel like im broken
