This was going to be a short reply. But because I'm a maniac this'll be its own post.
I used to be bad at English. But for me, videogames and cartoons helped me learn a lot. By trying to surround yourself with media that's in English, it can force you to think about the language and try to translate it more often.
Here's some stories to explain my point. Because why not?
There were many videogames I used to play but the ones that helped me the most were MMORPG. In those game, you can trade items and interact with other players. It kinda forced me to learn proper grammar, because I needed to negotiate with REAL players otherwise I would get ripped off.
Also the fact that they made fun of my terrible English just fueled my determination to Get Good.
Watching cartoons worked for me as well. And why did I watch cartoons in English you ask? Because I was simply annoyed how the dub didn't match the mouth animation and frankly, dub voice acting is usually terrible.
The decision to press the "change language" button out of annoyance was one of the things I did as a kid I'm still grateful of.
So I suggest you try doing things like,
Get an English version of your favorite book and compare them.
Do you follow certain content? Check on English-speaking ones what their coverage on the content is like. On Youtube, for instance.
Change to English in the settings of your apps or devices
Try watching movies with English subtitles. It's what I do when they talk too fast.
Consume a LOT of different media and be open-minded.
I'm ready to fight god now
here it comes again
