I can't see the post anon but yeah they should address the ugly side of the fandom but will they? Idk. It's been over a decade and they have never if anything they keep submitting to the ugly side of the fandom where they're like "i do what you say" lol.

It's one thing cherishing a big fandom that always had ur back when u were looked down upon by the industry it's another thing to not address the ugly side of the fandom where even ur own friends and other celebrities are scared to mention you cause they know your fandom will harass the shit out of them. I don't remember the exact words but jin said/did something similar like "if you do this that or if i don't get this you'll face our fandom" something like that and that's really shitty.

they don't deny ships because they use it to hide their girlfriends so they are scared of their fans.

See even IF they're doing what u said then that's also not their fault because they definitely didn't ask anyone to ship them its fans who decide to do that. So from a fans perspective it looks they're wronged but from their pov it's not because they didn't ask fans to ship them with anyone.

And i do think they don't like upsetting their fans and as for being scared then maybe who knows cause the fandom is big so u won't know what they're capable of and imagine your fans dropping u cause u made them upset...idt any idols wanna do that. But it's also stupid if your fans drop u cause you're dating someone then what kind of fans did you have? Are they really there for ur talent or?? I mean if they think their fans will drop them or hate them if dated publicly then they should question the type of fanbase they have created and if the fans are there for ur talent or something else.

well they need to pave the way to dating too and stop acting cowards, they're old and rich, they will be fine.

I mean if someone wants to make their romantic relationship with their partner public or not is solely onto them, it should be their choice only. If they don't want to go public that's also fine. But if they're not going public all because they think their fans won't like it then come on what's the point of bragging about having the Biggest fandom in the world if that fandom is deciding what you should do and shouldn't? I think last year RM and Jhope said something similar. I don't remember the words so i won't even try to misquote but yeah.

If you have an opportunity to change something and IF you actually want to go public with ur partner and are not doing it so not to upset ur fans then idk what's the point of having all that power.
